Walking

Mom is walking the mile trail with us again. We've walked for two days in a row and will walk again this morning. Good job, Mom!

Welcome to Sandy Creek Ranch

Sandy Creek Ranch is a 64-acre ranch nestled in a small valley bordered in part by national forest. Our property is split into 5 parcels. One parcel is our residence, one is my mother's home, one houses our office and warehouse, and two are undeveloped.

We have horses, dogs, cats, geese, wild turkeys and ducks on the ranch. The geese and ducks make their home on the pond in front of our house, but sometimes make their way to the upper pond for a swim. The turkeys, raised by hand when they arrived as day-olds in August 2010, roam the property, hang out at the house a lot and follow people and cars up and down the road. Some people have home entertainment systems, we have turkeys.

What happens on the ranch, stays on the ranch, except for the posts I make here.
