Happy Birthday, Gary

Gary and Angie are leaving the ranch on Friday, so Gary won't be here for his birthday. Instead, we had a small dinner party (just Mom, Angie, Gary, Denis and Me). We had corn on the cob, pulled pork sandwiches, salad, and a butter pecan ice cream pie.

I am getting so sick and tired of SDG&E's helicopters flying around the house from morning until night. The transmission lines are so ugly and so close to the house. Ick.

Doc

I managed to get on the horse this morning and we had a good lesson. When I had just gotten on, Flash ran under Doc, brushing his back legs. Neither Doc nor Flash gave it a second thought while Betsy and I nearly had a heart attack. Otherwise, the lesson was uneventful.

Movie Tuesday

On Tuesday we saw Prometheus, a science fiction thriller directed by Ridley Scott. The best thing I can say is that it kept all of us awake.
