This year, instead of doing nothing, well, dinner, we took a brief vacation to Coronado. We stayed at the Loews Resort on the Coronado Cays (see
history). We arrived Wednesday afternoon after spending a couple of hours with our friends, Haim and Nettie. Wednesday night we saw a play at the Lambs Players Theatre in Coronado. The play was
Les Miserables. Thursday we had breakfast in town and walked the length of the main street and back. Later in the afternoon, we checked out of the hotel and took a gondola ride in the cays. That was refreshing and fun. Then back home--a short but enjoyable trip.
