Deer
Wow, we were sitting on the sofa around 7 tonight when a deer ran into our yard above the barbecue. I'm pretty sure she wasn't volunteering for dinner as she kept right on going.
Lost Cat
A couple of days ago, Precious II wouldn't come in at night. She kept playing on top of the hill behind the koi pond, but wouldn't come down when we called her. For the next two days, we called her but -- no cat. Then last evening she just wandered into the yard, hunting birds. I snatched her up and put her in the cat house overnight. This morning, she went out with the other cats but, again, tonight she didn't appear when the other cats were being put up. Then, around 6 p.m. she came hunting birds again. So I caught her and she is now safe and sound in the cat house. I guess this is the new norm for her.
