Visit from the Whites

Yesterday was St. Patrick's Day and we were blessed by a visit from my Godchild Laura, her husband Brent and Brent's Dad, Aunt and Uncle. It was great to see them and to meet some of Brent's relatives. We "dragged" them around on a tour of the ranch and force fed them green iced devil's food cupcakes that Dennis and I made that morning. We had planned on a light lunch/dinner of designer salad (lettuce and a bunch of stuff you choose to put in it), plus rolls, cheese and lunchmeat. However, they had eaten a big breakfast so only ate the cupcakes.

Garage

The stucco color went on yesterday. It's a light cocoa color.

Cha Shu Baos

Or as we call them...Bows. Anyway, Dennis and I made some pork bows on Sunday. My job was to fill and twist shut. Dennis did everything else. It was his idea, too.

Pizza

Dennis was going to take me out for lunch around 1 p.m. today, almost exactly when the snow started to come down. So, instead, I made pizza for us and for Mom, too. She wasn't feeling too good today because her back was hurting, so the pizza turned out to be a good idea.

50-50s haircut

50-50 was shedding so much we couldn't wait for summer to get her a lion cut hairstyle.  She's so cute.

Change in the weather

Now it's snowing. Know how I know? The satellite receiver filled up with snow and the TV stopped working.
