TGIF

It's Friday morning and I've fed the dog and cats. Here is a snapshot from the Cat Cam showing Little Bug eating breakfast in the Cat House. He doesn't show up until I've put down all the dishes and gone back in the house.

I'm getting my hair done at a new (to me) place in Alpine. I just talked to Dennis who is at the Las Vegas airport about to come home from his visit to the Consumer Electronics Show (CES). He goes every January, but I've given it up because there is TOO MUCH walking. 

Little Bug & Friends

The other cats seem to be taking good care of Little Bug. Here he is with Bug and Sammy. Three kitties sitting on a shelf. Doesn't Little Bug look a lot like Bug?

Craft Room

We received the shades we ordered and one of them is up. The rest should go up tomorrow. Looking good.

Little Bug

Little Bug is making progress. I petted him twice today, once picking him up and once just petting him while he was lying in the cat bed. Tonight I looked at the cat cam and Little Bug was playing with the other cats, so I guess he's feeling better about being captured.

Movie Tuesday

We saw Saving Mr. Banks today. I thought Tom Hanks was great as Walt Disney, who had been trying to get the rights to the Mary Poppins book for 20 years. The author, P. L. Travers, refused to sign over the rights and despised the kinds of movies Disney made. Mom and I enjoyed the movie, but Dennis was less enthusiastic.

Bead Class

I started an intermediate bead making class last night, leaving the new Downton Abbey half-watched. When I got home, around 9:40, Dennis and I finished watching the program. There will be 8 classes held at night at the Blue Dolphin classroom. Dennis and I took the beginning class a couple of years ago, but didn't really follow up. We do have a bead-making station in the shop in front of the glass shop but we've never used it. I'll be using it now.

Downton Abbey Marathon

We almost made it. We have only the last chapter to watch before we start to watch the current Season 4 that recorded on Sunday.
