Give me air, lots of air, da da da da da da da

The air conditioner went out today. Oh, no! Luckily, Dennis got it running again, but the thermostat doesn't seem to be working. Oh, well, at least the house got cool again.

New Glass Class

Today I started a six-series fused glass class at Blue Dolphin Stained Glass. Today we cut glass for a pedestal candy dish. It should be "cooked" by next week.

Later in the afternoon I accompanied Dennis and Flash to the recycling center in La Mesa. What a treat.

New Jewelry

I've been making some wrapped dichroic glass pendants. One is in copper, the rest in silver.

Garage construction

Wow...the garage construction is actually started...first, the ground prep.

No Movie Tuesday

There were only two new movies out this week: Watchers about four goofy guys who formed a neighborhood watch group and some movie about teenage dancing raves. I don't think so.

Instead, Mom and I went to WalMart and I got some paperwork done at home before we left for Flash's lesson. In the morning I watched the Olympic show jumping, the last of the 3 day eventing. I missed the dressage but I watched all of the cross country event.

Old Timey Movies

Mom dug out our old family movies and projector today and tonight Dennis threaded the film and we watched about 4 of them. The only room dark enough to show the movies was our bedroom, so we gathered there this afternoon after dinner. No popcorn.

Pine Valley Days

I was sorry not to be able to participate with a booth at Pine Valley Days this year, but I was just not up to it. We did go to see what was going on in the morning. It was hot. I wrote about it on Flash's blog.
