Who's got the Dot?
I do. Let me introduce Dot, our new Yorkie, who came home with us today. We bought her from a breeder in Rancho Santa Fe. Dot is 4 months 6 days old. She was born on Mother's Day, May 11, 2014. She is around 5 lbs. and will be a blondie, we think. Here she is.

Movie Tuesday
Movie Tuesday a little late. Last Tuesday we saw When the Game Stands Tall, a high school football story staring Jim Caviezel. The story is about a high school coach who tries to make men out of boys through the game of football. We all enjoyed the movie and recommend it.

Happy 33rd Anniversary
This year, instead of doing nothing, well, dinner, we took a brief vacation to Coronado. We stayed at the Loews Resort on the Coronado Cays (see history). We arrived Wednesday afternoon after spending a couple of hours with our friends, Haim and Nettie. Wednesday night we saw a play at the Lambs Players Theatre in Coronado. The play was Les Miserables. Thursday we had breakfast in town and walked the length of the main street and back. Later in the afternoon, we checked out of the hotel and took a gondola ride in the cays. That was refreshing and fun. Then back home--a short but enjoyable trip.

Movie Tuesday
Movie Tuesday a few days late. On Tuesday Dennis, Mom and I saw The November Man starring Pierce Brosnan, still cute after all these years. I wasn't expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised. It was actually a pretty good movie. We all enjoyed it and would recommend it if you like thrillers and spy movies.
