Mom
This has been a bad week for us. Mom had to go to Urgent Care 3 times--on Friday, Sunday, and the next Friday. A temperature of 102 prompted the last visit to Urgent Care where they discovered she had pneumonia, a scary proposition for someone her age (91). She was admitted to the hospital but today she is coming home. Yea!

Movie Tuesday
Begin Again, music, romance, laughs...what else can you ask for? Oh, yeah, Mark Rufulo at his tenderest--even with a week's beard growth. And for the guys, Keira Knightley...cute, perky, English. We enjoyed the movie and the music. Go see it.

Goodbye, James Garner
I was so sorry to learn that James Garner died yesterday. He was 86, but I always will think of him in his prime. I watched the Rockford Files on TV and saw all of his movies. If you are my age, you will remember him, too. Goodbye James Garner.

Multi-colored Wrap Bracelet
My new extra-long wrap bracelet. It goes around my wrist 5 times. I love the button, too. Just finished this yesterday.

New Jewelry
I've been immersed in making beads lately, but still managed to make some new jewelry pieces. I so enjoy working in my beautiful Craft Room.
This is a long Lapis Lazuli necklace |
A shorter Lapis Lazuli necklace with a chain running through it |
This is a turquoise bead wrap bracelet. Very popular right now and interesting to make. |
Movie Tuesday
Well...another good movie. That's two in a row. I can hardly believe it. Today was The Fault in Our Stars, a story about two teenagers, Hazel and Gus, who meet at a cancer support group and fall in like and then love. This movie will reach into your heart and squeeze tears from your eyes. Only Dennis and I went to the movies today because Mom was under the weather and didn't feel like making the trip. I told her about the move and she said it was just as well she missed it because she didn't feel like crying today. Sorry, Mom. Hope you feel better tomorrow.

Movie Tuesday
It's been awhile but well worth the wait. If you were a teen/young adult in the late '50s and '60s, you've got to see Jersey Boys if only for the reminiscent value of listening to all those oldie goodies. Jersey Boys is the story of the Four Seasons and lead singer Frankie Valli. What a treat. Good story, too. Remember Sherry, Walk Like a Man, Big Girls Don't Cry, My Boyfriend's Back, and many, many more? I was surprised at just how many hits Frankie Valli and the Jersey Boys had. Just a great, enjoyable movie. Go see it.
