I Play with Fire

When I returned from getting my teeth cleaned this morning, I went into the "bead shop" to make some beads before my class tonight. I made quire a few with dots on them: red with white dots and the reverse. Keep in mind, I am just learning so all my beads are crappy.

I was so tired of looking for a space to spread out wrapping paper when I need to wrap something and search for the tape, ribbon, etc., so I bought this wrapping station:

Fairy Tale Land

The day after Alora's birthday we had breakfast on the boat, then Lorissa drove us to Fairy Tale Land, about 4 miles away. Here are some photos:

Happy Birthday, Alora

Wednesday we took a flight to Sacramento and checked into the Delta King, a former paddleboat now moored as a hotel on the Sacramento River. Dennis's daughter Lorissa and her daughter Alora met us at the boat for a birthday celebration for Alora. Alora turned 4 on January 22. She's already looking forward to being 5.

We had a little bitthday party for Alora following dinner on the boat. Here are a few pictures:
