As usual, Dennis rode his bike to work with Flash running along at warp speed. All was good until Dennis rode his bike on the way home for breakfast. As we now understand it, he swerved to miss Flash when he darted in front of the bike. The bike fell and so did Dennis, possibly bouncing on his head. Toby, working on the garage, called 911 and within 20 minutes the paramedics were here, followed by the ambulance in about 10 more minutes.
They questioned Dennis, who was sitting on a chair by the garage. They felt it was prudent to take him to the hospital of a ct scan, so they took him and I followed in my car. I forgot his wallet, so I had to turn around and go back to the house. Angie said she would go with me so the 3 of us spent nearly the whole day at the hospital.
Dennis is ok. No head bleed or broken bones. We are resting at home now in our usual spots on the sofa.
Let's hope tomorrow will be less eventful.

New Mexican restaurant
Mom and I had lunch at the new Mexican restaurant in Alpine. The restaurant is in the same location as Marieta's, which moved out when the power link crew was tearing out the main street in Alpine. Many shops had trouble when customers avoided driving there because of the traffic and general mess.
Can a cat take down a horse?
Breezeway
We've made some changes in the breezeway. Not only have we finished the cat house (still needs a coat of paint), but we cleaned up and moved around some of the furniture we had in the breezeway. I like the changes so far. Take a look.
