Happy Thanksgiving!

I am not going shopping today--or tonight. Ridiculous idea.

The turkey is in the oven and I'm waiting until 12:30 to put the yams in. With all the free time, I thought I'd bring the blog up do date. I have some photos of the garage building project, the kittens, and ... remember the turkeys we used to have? They're baa-aack!

Garage

Here's a view of the garage taken 11-19-12. They were just beginning to frame the second story. They've gotten much more of the framing done now. We've ordered windows and two sets of French doors. I'm beginning to start thinking about furnishings. Yikes.

Kittens

First of all, the kittens are beginning to look a lot like cats. We still put them in at night, but last week we lost Cindy Crawford. She must have strayed too far from the house looking for mice. Bug and Sammy have become nearly inseparable. Take a look:

Turkeys

Dennis was taking a walk with Flash yesterday and guess what he found? Yep, the turkey that disappeared last year came back for a visit just before Thanksgiving. I knew they were dumb.

Craft Show

Betsy, Kourtney (Betsy's daughter) and I took our stuff to Pine Valley for a craft show yesterday. It was very cold and I was freezing by the time I got home. We had a lot of fun, though. The show was to benefit Breast Cancer Research and to raise money for Kortney to do the 3-day walk. She earned almost enough and needs only a couple hundred more.
