The Prius is fixed! Yea.

The garage is coming along.

Prius is in the hospital

Tuesday I took my Prius to the shop for repair. It just so happened Mom and I were already in town because of Movie Tuesday, so it worked out great. I have a Ford Escape as a rental--it seems big.

Storm

Monday morning (8-13-12) we had a downpour--rain, thunder, lightning and then really strong winds. Look at this:

We got .41" of rain from this storm.

Bump

Yesterday I was backing up my car to the house so I could unload some groceries and I hit the bucket of the backhoe. The bucket was lying on the ground and I didn't see it. Also, I'm a terrible backer upper. I wouldn't have hit the bucket if I had driven straight back. Bummer. Now the car has to go to the hospital.

Kittens

Here are some recent photos of some of the kittens.

Big Red

Here's the big red balance ball I bought.

Oops

Last night when I went to bed, I found a huge pile of clothes on the closet floor...what? Apparently the plastic clothes rack pole hardware failed (broke), sending the pole and all of the clothes to the floor. What a mess. We had to pick up all the clothes and hang them on the rack above the pole...or where the pole would be.

So today we (Dennis, me and Flash) made a mad dash to El Cajon to buy new hardware from Home Depot. While we were in town I also bought a big, red exercise ball to help me regain the flexibility in my legs and hips so I can ride my horse again. I ordered new stirrups and hope to be ready when they get here. We made another stop at Sears for Dennis to buy some tools and then we headed up the hill again, stopping at Albertson's to pick up a prescription for me. We made the whole trip in a couple of hours.

When we got home, we found Roomba had locked herself in the bathroom. We let her loose, but later I found her in there again. What is her problem?
